This image series started as a student project with the goal of creating a narrative-based design series, and telling a personal story through one’s own unique design style. The series depicts first, second, and third generation immigrants as it applies specifically to my family of Hungarian and Yugoslavian heritage. The design style used is this bizarre and chaotic collage art, along with sketchy illustration. The imagery is mostly historically accurate and culturally specific, combining both digitally and physically found images.

This image series was featured in Photo Trouvée Magazine Issue 12 in 2024, with a four page spread and an artist feature on the official Photo Trouvée Instagram.
